Thembalethu Professor Mchunu, better known by his stage name Nonkybeatz is a South African rapper, actor, song/scriptwriter, director, composer, record producer and a graduate of Durban University of Technology.

 He appeared on local televishion series such as Z’bondiwe (Banda) and Ashes to Ashes (Njandini), 7de Laan (Photographer) and also performed various roles on theatre shows. He also participated in the National Arts Festival with a production which he later collected, Best Director Achievement Award for.
